A systems-approach

collines_fourchette

We apply ourselves to maintain a systems-approach to food and farming transitions. Each of us holds only part of the knowledge and expertise, therefore, we aim to promote complementarity and facilitate cooperation between public, private and community groups working on different issues of the food system.

Today, ALTAA is …

01-clean 1

A space for discussion, cooperation and action

Between civil society organisations (CSOs), local authorities, research institutions, businesses and community organisations etc to strengthen our skills and actions by way of a systems approach to food.

02-clean 1

A force for joint advocacy

To amplify the impact of local food stakeholders, shift dominant narratives and participate in reshaping local; national and EU policies, ALTAA feeds into and channels the advocacy work of allies and partners.

ALTAA facilites the sharing of :

  • good practice ;
  • resources ;
  • expertise ;
  • action levers ;
  • new narratives and storytelling for food and farming transitions

…in order to strengthen the work of public, private and civil society organisations engaged locally, nationally and internationally !
